Although she already has a burgeoning film career under her belt, Tatiana Maslany has now come to the forefront in a TV role playing not one but several characters in the BBC America series Orphan Black.

The actress's portrayal as clones Beth, Alison, Cosmia, Helena, Katja and Rachel won her Best Actress prizes at both the Critics Choice TV Awards and the Television Critics Association where she beat off competition from the likes of Clare Danes and Vera Farmiga. It's not the first time Canadian born Maslany has been praised by critics either; in 2012 she won a special jury prize at Sundance film festival for her role in Picture Day. With a second series of Orphan Black now commissioned and with an upcoming bit part in popular American comedy Parks and Recreations about to air in America her success looks set to continue.
